Welcome to my Commercial Photography Assignment Blog

I'm Ms. Sherwood an instructor of graphic design, illustration and photography at Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin, TX.  I love graphic design and photography.  When I was a little girl my grandfather was an amateur photographer, he would let me trace negative images in the darkroom enlarger.  It was magical.  My high school art teacher, Mr. Kreps had worked in the advertising industry in NYC and he inspired my love for graphic design.  He was a gruff person who would tear up your artwork if he thought you weren't making your best effort, he always inspired me to do more.  I love to experiment with photography and design.  I look forward to seeing the work of my students this year.
